As an interdistrict magnet school, 95% of the school building’s construction costs will be reimbursed by the State of Connecticut. It is projected that 30% of the school’s operating costs will also be covered by the State.

  • To meet State guidelines for interdistrict magnet schools, the school must enroll no more than 75% of its student body from Stamford at each grade level. At least 25% of the enrollment population must consist of students from other towns in Southern Fairfield County.
  • All students who enroll at the Environmental Magnet School, from Stamford and the surrounding towns, must enroll through the lottery process.
